Huge Ghost is Ben Hodge (bass), Troy DeRego (drums), and Joe Whaley (guitar, vocals).  Formed in 2016 in Starkville, MS, the indie rock band released a digital 3-song EP titled Curtains Drawn - a live-off-the-floor demo recorded in a friend’s basement studio.  Since then Huge Ghost has been playing shows and working on new music. In the summer of 2019, the trio began recording a new EP in Jackson, MS with the help of engineers and co-producers Casey Combest and Tucker Ward at Blue Sky Studios.  Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering in Seattle (who has worked on acclaimed albums such as R.E.M’s Automatic for the People, Death Cab for Cutie’s Transatlanticism, as well as a generous helping of live Pearl Jam albums and countless others notable works) has finished up the production and readied the forthcoming So Much for Drowning Memories by Huge Ghost for a tentative release in the Spring of 2020.  Follow hugeghost.com and @hugeghostband on social media for more updates.
